Home sick today.

I had a talk with my cold and we decided a sick day was in order. It's really funny. I don't have my usual head stuffed up so bad I can't think that I get when I get colds back home. Instead, I've got something living in the back of my throat in the tonsils region, making the whole place kinda hot and roasting. I think this includes my head, but I don't have a thermometer. Either way, a rest day to get better seemed like a Good Idea Pants kind of idea. And when I woke up 12 hours later, I knew I was right. When I'm good, even on the weekends, I usually sleep 8 then roll over and sleep another 2. Not 12 straight.

In other news, watched Rush Hours 3 (very funny play on words, not worth money) and High School Musical (my brain doesn't quite feel like it rotted in my brain from watching this, not quite, and also, not worth money, but was enjoyable). Today will be a Mimzy kind of day. For all that I have a Mimzy keychain on my book bag, I still haven't seen it. And yes, I think today.

I was also bad. I'm not done with the Book Thief, but it's not the kind of book I can curl up with to try to go to bed, so I started New Moon last night. I'm going to try to read them both, or let New Moon be my reward for reading the Book Thief. I don't want to just put it down, it's really good. Its just not my usual and I can't eat it as easily. And it seems a lot longer than it really is. I mean it's only 550 odd pages. That shouldn't be anything unusual.

Oh, and I also posted a metric ton of pictures on flickr. They're not even all posted because they were so many, but I'm working on that. You can look at my Family trip now.
