Today I wore jeans to school. At Heiichi Sho. The one (big) school that I hadn:t previously asked for permission to wear jeans at work. And I was all set up to deliever my priorly memorized speach of how I:m sorry I didn:t realize when most of my others schools let me. And one of the 5th grade teachers was also wearing jeans and nobody said anything. Man. If I had known I*d have been wearing jeans for the past few months! Ah well.
Today I:m leaving work early to head over to the iinkai and hopefully get some information about the two new schools I:m picking up Next Week. I think I:ve mentioned before how not happy I am with this situation, but lets reiterate. 1) I see my old kids even less. 2) I:m starting 3 weeks before the end of the school year, I only have 2 lessons with each class. 3) I*m Starting at the End of the School Year. 4) I have NO idea what they:ve already learned this year and what I will be reviewing or teaching them. 5) I have never met their old teacher. 6) I only have a VAGUE idea of where these schools even are. I know one is on Irabu Island (ferry for me!) and one is off of the gusukubesen. Somewhere. Me = not happy. But ah, well.
Oh, if you go here and clicky the button, then you give food to the hungry. At the top of the page there are tabs for other causes like breast cancer and whatnot. It:s free, and just takes a few seconds.
And lets not forget that if you are bored and wish to improve your vocab skillz, you can go here and play the game for free. And give rice to the hungry. Yay.
