Mystery Everybody Off Day

We were let out of school early today. I have no Idea why. I was just told that we wouldn't be having lunch and that everyone was going home, including the iinkai, so to just go home myself. And I was just tickled pink. So yeah, after 4th period, I left.

I went home and talked to Leo for a bit, which was awesome. Found out that

wanted to be my friend (woot and welcome!). Figured out which day I needed to buy my plane ticket to get me from here to Tokyo so that I can go to Thailand (already bought that half of the ticket) and when I need to come back if I'm gonna see Curi after it (yay seeing Niigata again!). And got myself ready to go. After followed The Errands.

1) Eat. This was more difficult that I'd previously thought. Apparently, when my english coordiantor said that "everybody" was off after lunch, she meant "EVERYBODY." All of my usual "OMG I'm out early enough to eat lunch!" places were CLOSED. So skip this step and move to step two.

2) Reserve plane tickets. Got the one to Tokyo reserved no problems. Getting back is more difficult because the only place that JAL flies to from Niigata is Osaka, and Osaka doesn't fly to Miyako, but does to Naha. At so early in the morning I'd need to layover over night. Same with Tokyo. So I can train from Niigata to Tokyo and fly Tokyo to Naha to Miyako. XP Or, I can do what Curi suggested when I talked to her and fly ANA, which I dont' want to do (fequent flyer miles and all, but if it gets me home nicer).

3) Eat. Wafute was open and had a wonderful lunch special with Tempora, maguro sushi don, zaru soba, and their nice little almost asian salad. Tastey.

4) Go to doctor. Doctor was out of the office until 3.

5) Buy a light bulb. I leave the light in the bathroom on at night so that I can see as I stumble my way towards it in the middle of the night. It goes out quicker that way. But I don't bash my toes.

6) Go to doctor. He says that the swelling is normal and should be expected through weeks 5 and 6 after My Fall. When I pointed out that I can't point my toe, he sent me to physical therapy.

Note: I'm in love with my physical therapist.

Deep abiding emotional connections to Leo aside. Yoshioka is cute. Yoshioka speaks a bit of English. Almost the first thing Yoshioka did to me was sit in between my thighs and give me one of the best leg massages I'd ever had. It. Was. The. Awesome.

He says that because I fubared my ligament, yeah, more time, still no exercise. There's swelling deep in my muscle so that's why my ligament is so tight. When the swelling goes down, I should be able to point my toe again. (Good news, as that's "suppose" to happen in the next 2 weeks or so.) And I have to give myself muscle massages along my calf and thigh on the outside. And I'm to see him again next week. Yay.

So yeah, that was what I did with my mystery "EVERYBODY'S off early" afternoon. I got home about the same time I would have if I'd had a normal day. And since, I've been trying to finish Deep Secrets by Diana Wynne Jones (It's really good, but the endings been going on for a while now. About the Multiverse). Yep. I've really got nothing to look forward to this weekend but laundry and trying to get the place a little cleaner. My computer's been lagging this afternoon for some reason, it's typing slower than I am, and I did a disk permissions repair. I think I want to go out tonight, but by the time everyone else is going to want to, I'm going to be extremely tired and that's no fun. *sigh* I'll try to figure out something.

Oh, and I dreamed an awesome story last night, but when I remembered that I'd dreamed an awesome story, on my way home today, I couldn't remember what it was about. No, no wait. 2 sisters were secretly ruling the world from a resteraunt. When you went inside, it was like a maze and you found yourself before you got out. They served duck. Story idea copywrite Kimberly Bundschu Yay! *sqee!* Thank you all for the use of your extra brain space.
