So, after lunch on Thursday I'm going to meet up with Taira-san and together we will go visit Sarahama and Kagamihara, my two new schools. I'm just planning to do a variant of my Family/Introduction lesson, although I still need to know which grades I'll be teaching. That should be found out on Thursday, so all good. We'll play a few games, mess around, and hopefully it won't be the horrible horrible dooms.
Also, in being slack, and not having an extra lesson out (I teach 2 weeks, same vocab), I need a third part to both my weather lesson and adjectives lesson. Weather is 3rd and 4th, do you think if I give them 2 weeks they'll be able to put together a report using the computers? I was going to let 5th and 6th do collages from magazines describing adjectives, but that sounds lame to me, if anyone has a way to make it not lame, that would be awesome. By tomorrow would rock even more. What with the I teach this on Wednesday and I need to prepare.
And books, I keep forgetting how good of a writer Ursula Le Guin is, and how much I hate reading her. The Tomb of Atuan (2 of the Earthsea Cycle) is much easter to read than the first book of the series was, or maybe I just feel more invested with the characters. Not as much has happened, literally almost the entire book takes place in one temple compound (labyrinth underneath ^_^V ), but I'm enjoying it a LOT more. I mean, I'm actually getting through it. It took me about 3 weeks to read the first one, and about 3 days to work on this one. I have about 10 or 20 pages left and plan on killing it tonight. Although again with how much I hate reading Ursula Le Guin (she has the same problem that Tolkien does, too much detail, muggs down the reading, makes it slow to a crawl) I'll probably read some other book on my shelf before I continue the series. I still hope to finish the book (its a collection, 4 in one) before I leave japan, and I'm feeling much more optimistic now that I'm actually enjoying the second book much better than the first.
And, my new Amazon order is ready to ship. In just a moment I'm gonna go pay for it and get it on it's merry way. Sqwee!
And, yeah, this video pretty much is what Lucifer would do. I love my little angel kitty so much.
