Continuing in the spirit of Go Out and See People, I was suppose to go to Irabu this morning and support the people who walked/ran it. I didn't because the weather was ick and the people I was suppose to go with didn't want to. So, instead, slept in. And when I finally pulled myself out of rather disturbing dreams that didn't GO anywhere (I've been having several of those lately, I think it's just because I'm waiting for my life to continue again) I got up and realized that I couldn't wear pants, due to the fact that I had no clean pants, and seeing how I teach children tomorrow, being pantsless is a bad thing so I did laundry. After a bit (talking to Natalie), I went to breakfast with Kirsty, Amy, and later Sam (who only had coffee). Afterwhich we made marvelous plans to get our hair cut, but when we got there they didn't have room for us until 3 and Amy's friend from Singapore is flying in at 4 so she said she'd just do it later, and Kirsty felt like catching a nap. So I made the appointment and just got home. My hair is . . . the exact same, just about an inch shorter.
I've determined that I really don't care what my hair looks like (color aside). I always put it up. So, so long as it is easy to put up, and long enough to play with on the rare occasions that I feel like playing with it, groovy. This means, I prefer no bangs (for easy of putting up) and no layers (same reason). I prefer it to be longer than the top of my shoulders. And that's basically it when I come to preferences. So, there is no reason that I shouldn't try to grow it 10 inches past my shoulders. Doing so will enable me to donate it to Locks of Love, and still be long enough when I cut it. It's currently 23cm past my shoulders, so I only need another inch or so to make it past the test. Now, my hair grows slow, but I should be able to accomplish this before I come back state side.
Oh, in other news, I finally put away my christmas tree today. I'm not too sure about the rest of Cleaning the Apartment, but at least that giant step has been accomplished :P
