Rain

And you thought a few drops of rain make drivers stupid back home.

I saw my first automobile accident in Miyako today.

It started raining shortly before lunch. It was a heavy rain to make up for the past day and a half of ACTUAL SKY that we've had. I was slightly depressed at the rain, and it slightly depressed back at me.

I left work at the usual time, went the usual way, and was startled when I saw the flashing red lights. (They don't have blue here, I don't think) Half of the road was blocked with a head on collision. It looked very crumply, but I didn't see if anyone was hurt. I was just wondering how it happened. It was on a rather straight part of the gusukubesen, and yeah, the road was wet, but how do you slide into the other side of on coming traffic on a straight bit of the road? *Sigh* ah, well. I'm sure there was some reason for it. And it made me slow down a bit on the rest of my ride home.

Broke down (again) and bought KFC for dinner. They have a tasty chicken pot pie.

In other news, the last episode of Terminator, while not as disappointing as the last episode of Smallville, still was on my disappointed in you list. The second to last episode of Avatar was not on that list. I'm saving the last one, don't know how long I'll hold out.

Aaaaand I just received my latest box from my parent. I have sweet tarts. I is so happeh.
