I submitted for a publication.

So, the YAK is our monthly Okinawa JET newspaper. I've wanted to submit some things in the past, but have never felt up to it. Deadlines would either creep up on me or I just wouldn't feel inspired to write anything. But then I get this.

Ahoy there, bored ALT's!

This is just a quick reminder from the YAK teamu that the deadline's
coming up! Yup, this Friday, the 28th of March is the deadline for
submissions to the next YAK.

Remember that the theme of this issue is "Random Creativity", so
pretty much anything goes! Poems, photos, random writing, photocopies
of your butt...*

In particular, we'd like to draw attention to the 50 Word Challenge.
Now that you've got some free time, a take a look at the last issue
of the YAK, grab the 50 words you need and write us something random!
There is a prize going, so there's really no excuse not to enter, now
is there?
