Today's w6d2 was not very interesting. I'm so over the intervals. Especially the long ones. I use an analog watch, I like it, when I was first starting it was nice to be able to physically see how long until I could quite, but as soon as we got to intervals over 5 minutes it just got annoying. Mostly because I don't want to have to look at how far I have left to go, and it's hard to see on an analog, at a glance while your arm is bouncing up and down, exactly what minute you're at. And then fit in a 3 minute walk in the middle so that the next 10 minutes ends at somehour:08? Annoying. But, that's over. At least until I start doing it from the beginning, either working on time, or distance, or both.
I also think I figured out why I insist on going out around noon. I think I'm subconsciously trying to prove to myself that I can. I mean today was 88 degrees, 75% humidity, 20mph wind. That's just kinda nasty. I mean, the heat index is 102. And I was asking myself why I didn't get out of the house when I woke up at 9 this morning and go then. Why I sat around and messed on the computer and just procrastinated until it was bloody hot. I asked myself this about 8 minutes into my final interval. And I think I came back with "to prove to myself that I can." Which is stupid, and now that I know the reason, maybe I'll be better about it. I'm also hosting a dinner party tonight, so that's why I couldn't just wait until it got cool again. Ce la vie.
In other news, I saw a sea turtle again today. Again, I ran down by the port, so I didn't have a good angle, but it was a sea turtle. Woo.

I REALLY like those numbers ^_^
Now I got to get the rest of the house ready for a bbq that I wish more people were coming to, and I think it's going to rain, so it might not matter if I get my place clean because we'll probably have to do it next door, but if I don't clean, it'll be as dry as New Mexico.
While procrastinating I found some nice memories on youtube involving the muppets, kermit, rainbows, and cookies.
