Things are going pretty well according to plan. I got up and went to Shimoji this morning at around 9:30. I was glad I took the extra 5 minutes in the car to tailor my good bye speech to Shimoji, because yes, they had me do one. And the did a question and answer session, Nariko-sensei retranslating for me after I gave my answer in my beautiful broken Japanese. I almost cried, but didn't. Got a few pictures of them.

Then I went to the airport and asked about checked luggage and airport shipping. 2 Checked bags are okay, she didn't have a clue what airport shipping was. So off I went to the Post Office!

At the Post Office I asked about airport shipping and was told that I could, but then told that I couldn't, but that Kuroneko Yamato could and where the store for that was. I drove there and was told that they'd ship my luggage, up to 25kg, and hold it at the airport for 2 weeks. I think that's the route I'm gonna be going. And that I'm going to put my electronics in that suitcase, so I don't have to rush ship a box home last minute of things I need up until that last minute. I like that plan.

Then I went to the doctor and told him I was going on a long trip and needed 2 months worth of meds, which he gave me.

Then I went to Geo and tried to rent the music that I've been listening to in my car for the past year. I was mostly successful and now have to return all of the CDs tomorrow.

Then I went to the fruit and veggie market over by the Shimoji Max Value and got 6 passion fruits for 200yen, and 4 red dragon fruits for 200yen. Along with the yogurt I picked up at San-e, that was a wonderful lunch.

From then on, I've been at home, doing things with my external hard drive, doing laundry, cleaning, and making piles. I've run out of steam a bit, and will probably resume my labors after a shower or something. Maybe some reading. And I need to email people again about the crabs. I only *think* I know where I'm going.

Oh, and I need to workout today . . .
